Usage Data
It is generally possible to use the website without providing personal data. According to Art. 4 para 1 GDPR, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "Data Subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
The server of the provider Hostinger International Ltd., www.hostinger.com, on which this website is hosted, automatically collects and stores data transmitted by your browser. Under normal circumstances, this data cannot be assigned to a specific natural person. This data consists in particular of the host name of your computer (IP address), the browser you are using (type and version), the operating system you are using, the website from which you came to me ("referrer URL"), the name and URL of the page accessed by the visitor, and the date and time of your server request. Additionally, as you browse the site, we collect information about the individual web pages you view, and how you interact with the site. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
I have a legitimate interest in data processing for the purpose of
- establishing the connection to my website quickly,
- enabling user-friendly use of the website,
- recognising and guaranteeing the security and stability of the systems and
- to facilitating and improving the administration of the website.
The processing is expressly not carried out for the purpose of gaining knowledge about the person visiting the website or for marketing purposes. The deletion or restriction of the data takes place in accordance with Art. 17 and 18 GDPR as soon as the purpose no longer exists and no legal obligation to retain the data conflicts with the deletion. If the data is not deleted because other legally legitimised purposes require it, its processing will only be restricted for these purpose(s).
Cookies
My website uses so-called "cookies". These are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser in order to personalise your use of a website and make it easier for you to use. The data processed by cookies are necessary for the purposes mentioned to protect my legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Contacting me
When you contact me via the contact form or email, your details and personal data will be transmitted to me via my provider Hostinger International Ltd., www.hostinger.com, and stored and processed by me in order to process the enquiry and for follow-up questions. The transmission to me takes place via unencrypted e-mails. You are aware of the risks of communication via unencrypted e-mails.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting me is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.
The personal data collected by me for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with.
Transfer of Data
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.
I will only pass on your personal data to third parties if you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, if the disclosure is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data, or in the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose your data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. Additionally, please note that your personal data might be transferred outside of Europe, including Canada and the United States, as some of my provider's server are located there.
Information security
The personal data you provide are secured on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. I keep reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, and personal data disclosure in its control and custody. However, no data transmission over the Internet or wireless network can be guaranteed.
Rights of the Data Subjects
If your personal data is processed when you visit my website, you have the following rights as a Data Subject within the meaning of the GDPR:
You have the right to request information about the personal data stored about you. You also have the right to have your personal data transmitted to you or a third party, the right to have your incorrectly stored personal data corrected and to have it blocked and deleted, provided there is no obligation to retain it. You can object to the future processing of data concerning you at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. In particular, you may object to processing for direct marketing purposes. You can also revoke the consent you have given in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR with effect for the future. A corresponding revocation/objection or request for information/disclosure/rectification/blocking/deletion as well as modification can be addressed either in writing, electronically, by telephone or in person to the above-mentioned controller. If you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority responsible for your place of residence or work or for the place of the alleged infringement.
