I am dual qualified in German and English law and specialise in contract law, commercial law, IT law, data protection, and competition law. My journey began as a German lawyer, with several years at a prestigious law practice in Frankfurt, Germany. I then pursued further education and completed a master's degree at Trinity College in Ireland (LL.M.).
After returning to Germany, I began my in-house career within the legal department of a multinational technology and service company.
As in-house counsel, I provided legal advice to a wide range of business units, including marketing, sales, procurement, logistics, manufacturing and business development. I accumulated extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts throughout the entire supply chain, as well as in R&D contracts, software and licencing agreements. I also focused on drafting advertising terms and ensuring compliance with legal standards for all marketing activities, along with adherence to data protection regulations. Additionally, my role included providing strategic legal advice on the development of new business models, always mindful of the growing complexity and digital transformation of the economic markets.
Subsequently, I specialised in competition law, advising on vertical and horizontal antitrust matters including internal and regulatory investigations.
Upon relocating to the UK, I continued my professional career as an in-house counsel. Alongside my job, I qualified as an English solicitor under the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS).
Since embarking on freelance work, I have collaborated with renowned multinational companies on a variety of assignments involving both English and German law. My expertise lies in providing comprehensive, pragmatic, and business-focused legal advice to national and international companies across a wide range of industries.
